Our Story

A Legacy of Curated Wilderness Experiences

Seward Tent Campground was born from a simple belief: the Alaskan wilderness deserves accommodations that match its grandeur. For over 15 years, we've transformed basic camping into an art form — blending rugged outdoor access with thoughtful comforts that most campgrounds overlook.

Every site is carefully positioned to maximize privacy and scenic views. Our staff, many of whom are lifelong Alaskans, bring intimate knowledge of the Kenai Peninsula's trails, wildlife, and hidden gems. This isn't just a place to sleep — it's your basecamp for an unforgettable Alaskan adventure.

Location

Positioned at the Edge of the Wild

Nestled along Ballaine Boulevard in Seward, our campground sits at a strategic crossroads between ocean and mountain. You're minutes from Resurrection Bay's shoreline and the trailheads that lead into the heart of the Kenai Fjords.

Seward itself is a gateway to some of Alaska's most remarkable wildlife viewing — humpback whales, sea otters, eagles, and occasional bear sightings along the shoreline. Our location gives you the quiet of a campground with the convenience of being close to town amenities.
